All things teething - Page 3

Lou doesn't have any teeth either! He's 6.5 months. My older two didn't teethe until later--- I actually forget when they got their first teeth! Haha. But more like 8-10 months I think? But that runs in my family. But Lou seemed to be soooo intensely teething about a month ago... so it must've been something else I guess!

naomi's two bottom teeth poked through last night! boy those things are sharp!

I can't wait for his teeth!!!  He smiles non stop as it is and with teeth, I'll be a mushy love struck mess!

Clarissa has one bottom tooth. It's been almost two weeks now I thought that the second one would be here by now! I was under the impression that they came close together. Kellybeth they get less sharp as time goes on. It sure hurts tho when she decides to chew on my hand lol

4 teeth officially, here, although they don't "match up," LOL.  We have done fairly well no longer allowing her to chew on us and keeping nurse-biting to a minimum.

It seems like we've been seeing signs of teething forever now, the drool, the teething rash on the chin, pink cheeks, the desperate cramming of things into the mouth. No tooth to be seen yet. Did this take a while for other folks too?

Here's a bit of a weird question:

DD has a really prominent ridge down the centre of the roof of her mouth that ends where her two front teeth should meet. Is this something that all babies have? I'm a little worried that it's going to mean she'll have a big gap between her two front teeth because of it

We have that ridge here too. I just assumed it was normal but never really looked into it ?

normal. we have it, too.

Excellent. That makes me feel better.

Thanks ladies

Yeah. I think it's normal, Teles!

We've got four teeth now. Phew. Those last two were rough on all of us. She's so expressive about her needs now that when those teeth bother her, we KNOW it. I think the four-month bottom two were much easier, or perhaps I'm forgetting things already?

Two bottom, two top. She's grinding them for fun. Drives DH crazy - he thinks she's going to break one. I just laugh, and tell him that I ground my teeth together in my sleep throughout my whole childhood, and I never chipped anything. Teeth are strong!

I'm enjoying this little break between teeth. Hoping we don't launch right into the next pair!

My puddin' turned 7 months today, and still no teeth. She has identical white spots on the bottom tho. Still get to enjoy her gummy smile for a while longer by the looks of things!

8 Months here and still no teeth.  But that doesn't stop him from using his dang gums of steel.

Lol Imakcerka - same over here!

All of a sudden it looks like all four top teeth are coming at once. There is one tooth on the far left and the other three gums are starting to open. She already has her two bottom teeth. Crazy! She's been screeching a lot today. Poor baby!
