Nursing Mamas TTC June - Page 3

Thanks for the info on babywishes Stretch!  I'll try those next time - I will not be using Wondfo's again.  I do enjoy the "thrill" of squinting for lines, but the whole evap/false pos/whatever thing gets a little too "emotionally rollercoaster-y" for my taste.

Ya know, Rosie, as I was tweaking all of my hpt photos - I pretty much convinced myself that if I could make a show up by tweaking the heck out of it, it probably wasn't a BFP.  smile.gif But, I never could get one to appear.

Good luck ladies!!!  AF should start for me this weekend, on to the next cycle!

Hmm. The wondfos were the more reliable ones when I was TTC in 2010-2011. Maybe something has changed?
All brands (except digital) are squinters!

Well, all I can say is I'm in shock. I just got my first PPAF! Two days after I started Vitex and a tea I had severe ovulation pain. (I assume it was ovulation pain, because I've never had history of cysts). Ten days after that is today, CD1. I'm in shock because I never thought Vitex could work so fast and clearly.

This would be a huge coincidence if it wasn't caused by Vitex. Our nursing has been the same. I think I was on the cusp and just needed this boost.

Super happy this morning... Thought I would try an early response test on day 28 (second cycle post partum after round the clock nursing a 19 month old), it was faint so I did digital CB and it confirms a possibility/reality!
Thanks momma Erigeron for encouraging me to keep BBT charting, there really was a dip at possible conception time.

So I am feeling really overwhelmed right now. My DD is 8 months and a seriouse nurser (she wont take a bottle) DH and I decided a couple months ago to not prevent and whatever happens is ment to happen. Well the past 3 weeks I have had random times of feeling nauseous so I thought I would take a test just to be sure. Well I did and I got a BFP. I dont know if it's real, if it will work out...I really dont know what to think. I made an apt for Monday to hopefully get some answers, like when I would be do!?!!!!!

That's awesome RosieL!  I might have to try vitex!

WOW!  Congrats Momma Michael and Earthmoma!  So exciting!!  joy.gif

I don't know what the heck is going on with me - maybe I didn't ovulate when I thought I did.  No AF this weekend, last test was BFN...still crampy, and skin is broken out like crazy.  I guess I need to break out the thermometer to try to start figuring out what's going on.

updated list to here

**Not ttc, just hovering and wishing you all well**

Earthmama - you just told the story of how I found out I was preg w/ #2! DD was 9 months, still nursing every two hours all day and night, and I took a test bc it felt like I had the flu and it wouldn't go away. Ultrasound later told me I was nearly 8 wks...DS was born in April, he and DD are 17.5 months apart. Congrats mama...the two-under-two thing isn't easy, but I don't regret it for even a fraction of a second!

Hi all, I'm new here and not sure how to join in. My son is 20 mos and still nursing around the clock. Hubby and I have been ttc since Sept 2012 and I just started charting last month to try and figure out what's going on. It's hard to get good temps since we're bed sharing, so even though I had a positive OPK last month, I guess there's really no way to know for sure if I actually O'd. Now I'm on CD 21 and still no O after about 10 days of EWCM! Cycles have all been 26-30 days since the return of ppaf in June 2012. So, no idea what's going on over here! Just looking for some support from mamas who won't encourage me to wean (like everyone else who knows we're ttc...)

Good luck and welcome cyndiruth! You definitely won't hear "why don't you just wean" in here. :) How long have you have your period back? Are you taking any supplements or otherwise trying to encourage ovulation?

I hope you're stay here is short and sweet!

Hi Momma cyndiruth! Best luck to you. One of the mommas here encouraged me to persist and chart my temperatures even if we were bed sharing (I worried it would not be reliable if we are moving around a lot before getting out of bed). I also would get many days of what seemed like EWCM too. We got our own version of normal and a trend with temperature combined with EWCM time trying to have intercourse 1-2 days during that period. Had trouble with the ovulation test so I stopped them. Don't discourage and don't forget that stress can surely impact your efforts too. If you are worried the you could always seek advice from a medical professional who supports your choice of breastfeeding like we do in this forum! Baby dust.

I am out this month, as indicated by my rapidly dropping temps I should get AF tonight or tomorrow.

ALSO I will never order from babywishes again.  I love their tests but their customer service sucks.  I never received my order and they have not responded to my e-mails. (I can not find a phone number for them)

I've missed this month's thread because I've been on an extended holiday but congrats to all who have their BFPs!!!  Has anyone started a July thread yet BTW? x

Congrats to the new. Bfp's I can't believe its July already. I think I ovulated but not sure.
