New Prego In The House :-)

Hello Everyone!!!! I'm Shannon and Im new to all of this. I live in Watertown, CT and Im about 2 months pregnant with my first baby. Today I have my first apt. at Naugatuck Valley Women's Health Specialists in Waterbury, CT. Just curious if anyone has been there? I am really looking forward into having a natural birth with little to no interventions. I was raised with a midwife being part of my family, so I know the options I have. I am feeling nervous due to not having any family near me.I am curious if waking up at 3am every morning is normal in pregnancy? Also it seems like I have a perpetual tummy ache, but haven't thrown up(knock on wood) Is this normal??? Also right now I am car-less and take public transit...does anyone know of a midwife that would travel to Watertown?

Thanks for everyone's time and Happy Pregnancy :-)

Hello and welcome to Mothering! And congrats on your pregnancy! joy.gif

I have a few links that might help you get your questions answered:

First, to ask questions about a specific place, you might try posting in your area in Finding Your Tribe: http://www.mothering.com/community/f/76/tribal-areas

Second, to talk to pregnant moms in the same place of the pregnancy journey as you, you might join a due date club: http://www.mothering.com/community/a/join-a-due-date-club

And finally, to talk about pregnancy in general and ask questions of a wider group of women who are/have been pregnant, you can ask in this forum: http://www.mothering.com/community/f/19/im-pregnant

And by all means, check out our other forums as well! If you have any questions at any point, let me or another moderator know.

Welcome again!
