wasp sting on 11 month old and teta nus vaccination

Would you give your baby the tetanus vaccination if they were stung by a wasp? dr recommend it, she has stung by same wasp two times... I can see the little red pricks, I put hydrogen preoxide on it and then soaked her in a bath and tried to clean it as best as possible but they are so tiny I dont know if I got to the whole wound... This is making me nervous.

No, I wouldn't. She will not get tetanus from a wasp sting. Tetanus needs a lot of factors to be present in order to survive, none that I can think of occurring in a wasp sting.

Poor baby! I hate wasp stings.

No I wouldn't do it for a bee sting!

No. I really think you need to examine your reasons for not vaccinating, if you are going to worry about a wasp sting.

I wouldn't really worry. But just for the sake of mentioning it, Ledum is the homeopathic remedy for tetanus and insect bites, (I realize we're talking about a sting) but I've used it for stings. It's a double whammy as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, I was going to mention that as well. I keep Ledum around in these cases. I worry about every little thing as well and I think it's great that you asked about it before reacting. Not vaxxing comes with it's share of worries and I think that is totally understandable.

as with the others NO!

and ASAP find a different Dr, no way would I ever consider care from a Dr recommending this over a sting- I would run from that person, fast, very fast!!
