Starting this thread as a place where we can be real with each other and help each other out on our journey to shed some of the pregnancy pounds.
I started out this pregnancy (#1 for me) in my 120s. Gained about 50 lbs and was in my 170s when I went into labor. Have lost 20 lbs at 4 weeks pp, which puts me in the 150s.
I had a special event today which required me to get out of my sweats, and finding an outfit in my closet made me so depressed. I ended up in maternity pants, and a regular top that was stretched really tight. I really can't wait until I can feel good in my normal clothes again.
I've been going on walks with babe, sometimes wearing her and sometimes in the stroller. I think I need to start easing myself back into exercising, but mostly I need to get my eating under control. I got really used to snacking all day long when I was pregnant, and I let myself eat a lot more junk than I should have. And honestly those 2 habits are proving more difficult to break than I'd like to admit.
My goal is to get down into the 130s, and reward myself by buying some cute clothes that fit my 130s body. I want to eat healthy, exercise, and lose weight, without impacting my breastfeeding supply.
Who's with me? What are your goals and how are you going to reach them?
