I really thought I would be tandem nursing again, but DD2 had different ideas. She was nursing strong until a couple weeks ago (about a week before the baby was born.) Then she started saying, "This side hurts." (She could tell it did from my grimace when she latched.) "This side is baby Zach's." (We had bee talking about how she would share with the baby when he was born." At first she staked claim in the side that didn't hurt, but it transitioned into her giving up the "good" side to "baby Zach."
I still thought she'd get back to nursing when Zach was born, but she only tried once briefly. I guess she's done.
It makes me kind of sad, Both of my girls stopped nursing at age 2...just before the next baby. My first two (both boys) nursed until 3 and 3 1/2. They didn't mind the next baby.
Speaking of babies...I don't think I ever even posted that Zach was born. I remember posting about the shock that he was breech at 41 weeks and that since I had 4 previous cs I decided on doing a cs with him as much as I really wanted the vbac, I will post about his birth soon.
