Instead of Formula what can I feed my 2 Wk old?

My breasts are giving me a hard time feeding my baby(one not lactating well and one might have a clogged duct) and I'm worried my little one will be dehydrated if my breasts don't go back to normal soon enough.
Just incase, what can I feed her that is better than formula?

Sorry to hear you are having a hard time. The best way to unclog your ducts is to continue to feed your baby.

Breastmilk and/or formula are the *only* appropriate foods for a 2 week old.

How old is your baby?  Oh, nevermind, I just realized you said this in the title that your baby is two weeks old. There are sites where mothers share milk in casually, like Eats on Feets or Human Milk 4 Human babies, but I don't know if you would feel comfortable with that.

Make sure to treat the clogged duct.  Kellymom has some information about that: http://kellymom.com/bf/concerns/mother/mastitis/

Make sure to nurse frequently on the affected side, and you may want to have your baby evaluated for latch issues.

Best wishes to you!

Breast milk or formula. Taking raw milk from untested moms can pause a risk because of Hep B and STDs.

Try warm compresses, resting, eating and drinking more and pumping the clogged breast.

Take your baby for a weight in and ask the doctor to assess if the baby is in fact dehydrated.

It's best to keep breastfeeding on both breasts! That will help increase milk supply and unclog your duct too.
