The most important thing the doctor told me was to make sure he gets "lots of fluids" after his adenoidectomy. I thought it would be easy -- he loves his rice milk, really cold water, and anything sweet. I've been making him homemade pedialyte (molasses and salt in water) to hydrate him (he has digestive issues too, so with that treatment he needs lots of hydration). He loves his "tea" and of course the rice milk but now after his surgery he won't drink anything.
I've tried milk, water with ice cubes, apple juice, "tea"/homemade pedialyte... What else can I give him to tempt him to drink?? I'm giving him as much fruit and veggies as I can too, but he really needs to drink. His diaper this morning was barely wet where normally he soaks it completely if not all the way through, and after nap he was totally dry.
