Nice to hear from you.
I got a book titled 'God's plan for your pregnancy and delivery' by Oyenike Areogun. I had read it before and once I became pregnant and realised that I needed to stop being anxious, I went back to reading it. Let me share something I also shared with a Mothering member recently from the things I learnt in the book and the Bible, I hope that helps you:
'There is one thing in the Bible: there was never any woman who was recorded to conceive who had a miscarriage. The phrase was always 'she conceived and bore a son or a girl'.
For me, it means that as a Christian (child of God) my story would not be different. I Since I have conceived, I will bear. God is the one who has caused a woman to conceive, He is the one who forms the baby in the womb and by his power holds the baby there till it reaches its full term after which he separates the baby from the womb at delivery.
Exodus 23:25-26 says:
‘Exo 23:25 You shall serve the Lord your God; He shall bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness from your midst.
Exo 23:26 None shall lose her young by miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.
This is the promise of God to his children. He does not plan for anyone of us to have a miscarriage at all and so we cannot. I know that there are times a woman can experience bleeding. I have heard and read testimonies of people who refused to give in to the devil and the fear of miscarriage and have prayed and relied on God's word including this promise and some months later they had their children.
So if you are already a child of God, this is also your heritage. It's really simple to follow, it is by believing in Christ and confessing these words and trusting him.'
I hope you were blessed as I was.
