Looking for a midwife in Santa Clara

Hello,

Looking for recommendations for midwife for home birth in Santa Clara, CA. I had a natural birth with my first child in a hospital, but ended up with a last minute episiotomy. I'm determined not to be in that situation with this pregnancy. I've heard good things about Ronnie Falcao and Rosanna Davis, but concerned that it may take them some time to reach me. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks!

I went to a MW with an office over by Santana Row who I LOVED. I saw her for well-woman care so can't give feedback on her with birth but she was my favorite of the 3 MWs I've seen from the experiences I've had with her. I can't remember her name right now but she is German and at the time had an office in both San Jose and Santa Cruz and did hospital and homebirth. If I think of her name, I'll post.

I would recommend Rowen Holland she was my doula/monitrice for my natural hospital birth. I was a little worried about the travel time aswell because she lives in Santa Cruz but it didn't end up being a problem at all because my labor was 54 hours long! I have also heard very good things about her as a midwife, she even attended my OBGYN's homebirth!
