I will be 30 weeks Friday.
Who's taking liquid chlorophyll?
I would take a tablespoon mixed with a glass of water in the morning with my breakfast. I especially liked how good it is for helping with blood regeneration--i hoped this would help me feel better faster after the birth and i believe it did. I also like how the high vitamin k content is good for my bones and of course the iron content is helpful during pregnancy.
I *just* heard of this and am trying it, like GISDiva, to see if it helps mitigate the risk of low platelet counts. I am not *super* optimistic about actually boosting platelets, since platelet issues in the US are only very rarely due to nutritional deficiency.
But I figure, if the risk of low-platelets is high bleeding, then anything that helps me replenish that lost blood is helpful.
I love the one I take, it's derived from Stinging Nettle, & it's concentrated so you only put drops into juice and you taste nothing. It's really easy to take. I use oj or apple juice and although it turns the juice green, you can't taste it. The brand is Herbs Etc. It's in a small tincture bottle and you can find it at Whole Foods. I take it because my doctor recommended it.
