Braxton hicks

I'm 16 weeks today and i swear I'm feeling Braxton hicks. I've read a lot about what they feel like and that's what it sounds like. I know it's kinda early but idk what else it could be. I know what round ligament pain and gas feels like and it's a little different than that. Anyone else feeling Braxton hicks this early? My doc told me that I might feel them a little early because I have 2 uterus'. But I think they were aiming at more like 18-20 weeks.

P.s.
here's my little cutie

Idk why it couldn't be BH; I've had them around then too, it doesn't seem too early. Do they stop if you lay down and/or have a big glass of water?

We had a thread already about braxton hicks i think...a lot of us felt them early.  You can call them toning contractions : )

I'm not sure, they only last for 10 seconds or so.

i was just going to post something about this, alll night tonight i have been uncomfortable because my back muscles keep tightening up, and then it triggers my sciatic nerve :( it sucks but im glad that im not alone :D

so back pain could be braxton-hicks related, too? I haven't noticed anything particular (except after sex) in the contraction department, yet.

Braxton Hicks wont feel like pain. If it does there is something wrong. They should feel like a tightening in your abdomen.

I've been feeling them too since around 15 weeks so it's normal I guess. I've read somewhere (but I'm not 100% sure) is the Braxton Hicks occur early on but we only feel them later when the uterus is big enough.

I've been really feelingthe BH since hitting 14 weeks, mostly when I'm walking or need to pee, and mostly down low in my abdomen, but some in my back that are more painful. Kali, I had a coworker whose bh felt just like her labour contractions, but she also didn't drink ANY water. Like ever. So I wonder if that made them worse.

Yes that will make it way worse!! And I guess I mean this early they shouldn't be painful. Mine get quite uncomfy around the 37 week mark and dilate me for a few weeks prior to labor starting.
