You can't win, right? Either you're too small, too big, you found out, you didn't find out, you must be happy you got your boy/girl, you must be sad you got another boy/girl...
Annoying pregnancy side effects, anyone? - Page 3
Yes! This exactly! Everyone has an opinion about how you're doing it, even if it's something totally out of your control like how you're carrying!
I am also suffering under tasks incomplete, not because I am being procrastinatey, but it's like it's a new day when I go into another room to get something. Sunday morning I was making eggs for everyone for breakfast and I went to the office to get a pen for my grocery list and I sat down at my computer, eggs on the stove, to start on another task. A few minutes later, DH was like "Uh, are you watching the eggs?" The eggs? Oh! Right! Crap! Other task abandoned... This is so annoying because normally I forget nothing. NOTHING! Now half the time, I forget the end of my sentence before I get it out of my mouth. Geez! What is the theory on this? Too many body systems working overtime at on e? Brain in survival/protection mode? Insanity?
Oh, also hating maternity clothes. I page longingly through the catalogs of cute summer outfits that seem to arrive daily at my house. Must be nice to be able to wear so little fabric and still cover your body modestly! Some of maternity shirts are starting to get a bit tight and ride up to reveal the belly panel underneath and one dress and one skirt are starting to put the squeeze on. Really? I can't even fit into maternity clothes anymore? Being out my muumuu and some bon bons please!
Yep. Well, most of my clothes don't fit any more and I have just a few shirts but with only leaving the house once a week for my OB appt who cares? I'd be in trouble if I actually had to dress up for work every day.
Try some epsom salt baths, as charlie horses show a magnesium deficiency. And while I can empathize with both symptoms, the out of breath thing can be simply low blood pressure, it can also be more serious things, like a small heart problem. I am getting a Holter monitor for my heart soon, as I may be playing with fire to have a home birth with heart problems.
