Michigan School of Traditional Midwifery?

I know there was a similar thread already started, but it's being inactive for years.

Has anyone here been a student through the school? Was is a good experience? Was contacting them easy?

I ordered my course book a few weeks ago and have yet to receive it. The website is updated for 2013 so I don't think it's closed. I've tried to call for several days now, to no avail, and their voicemail box is full so I can't leave them a message. I'm worried that the school is closed. I'd like to go through them because I love everything I've read on the website. But I'm wondering if I should just look elsewhere. What other schools would you recommend? I am looking for CPM training, not CNM. I have no desire to become a nurse.

Welcome to Mothering!

Anyone have a recommendation to share?

I am currently going through the National Midwifery Institute. It's a MEAC accredited CPM school. I'd be happy to answer your questions about it.
