Lida So sorry you're going through this. I agree with Jenny, some statistics might help you relax. "This might indicate a problem" sucks. Exactly what I was told about the SUA. It could be normal, and it could be not. Not-knowing is the hardest part.
Thanks for the support everyone! I'm feeling better about this today, and I got an appointment for the level II ultrasound this coming Wednesday. On the bright side - since SUA is associated with lower birth weight, I'm more motivated me to pay a lot more attention to my nutrition and I've been eating a lot better. How much I gain is now completely off my radar, main thing this baby comes out chubby and healthy.
I met with my Midwife yesterday and she pointed out that my iron levels are going down, they're still not bad at 11 but she suggested taking Floradix, especially since I'm tiring very easily. There's a lot of positive reviews on it online so I'll pick up a bottle on the way home today. Anyone has experience with it?
