I need... - Page 2

I need a NAP. Yesterday was a long holiday, today will be  a long shopping trip. I also need someone to clean the house and wash the diapers for me later. The lawn mowed would be really nice too.

Haaha, just seeing if anyone is paying attention lol.gif
A rubber chicken is actually on my list of stuff to get. Ours gets an insane amount of play by all ages and she died a tragic death giving birth to a "parasitic T-Rex".

Second thought that popped into my head "someone to deep clean my house". LOL.

First thought was "my babies". Both dc are a long, long way from home right now, traveling separately in different parts of the world. I miss them. I know they are having amazing, life-changing experiences but I miss them.

Also, a pedicure and some 5 lb. dumbbell weights.

And if someone could magically conjure up a new bathing suit without me having to do the excruciating shopping for it, that would be awesome.

Olly, I don't know what kind of suit you want, but I was on another thread that lead me to this amazing suit designer. The designers site/shop is http://www.reyswimwear.com/

I need...

  • a longer summer vacation
  • to be more organized with my time
  • to commit to my workouts and clean diet
  • to spend more time with my husband
  • to save more money every month
  • a day at the spa, choosing whatever I would like, once a week

A really yummy latte.

A sibling playmate for my kiddo to absorb some of her energy!

A VACATION!  (mine was canceled due to a friends family feud!)

Know how to work my I-phone as an I-pod so I can make a playlist for jogging......anyone?  I am so tech challenged.

My husband to cook dinner tonight and do the dishes...even though he worked all day today!

A second income.

Boy, all of these would be great!

Seriously, this would be so good.  And I have already tried on about 15 this season.  Anyone know of an affordable brand that makes one pieces for tall women?  I need a shorter torso!

Sync your iPhone with your computer's iTunes so that they are added to your iPhone: http://m.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-synchronize-your-iphone-with-your-computer0.http

Does that make sense? Just make a playlist on itunes and then when you have your iphone plugged in to your computer you can select that the songs that you've checked be transferred to your phone.

A lot of things. Though thankfully I'm content even without these :)

Uninterrupted sleep, a maid, a shower, a personal chef, and to win the lottery!

A week in a luxury hotel, with a tall pile of books and room service (ideally it would be in walking distance of the Smithsonian Museums, but in that case, I need 2 weeks). Masseuse on call.

Then, I will come home to find my house deep cleaned. And the winning lottery ticket.

Hopefully, you've already solved this one, but I'm a big fan of zappos for bathing suits.  I just order a bunch, they come quickly, and you can try them on at home, and put the rest back in the box.  Super fast and easy.  It's also how I've been getting shoes for my LO since there is no good place to shop for kids shoes around here.

This is where I bought mine; it fits mine until almost second trimester usually: http://www.wholesomewear.com  A little pricey but definitely worth it.

Other than (upon baby's arrival) casseroles on the doorstep, I am at a loss as to what to get her for a baby shower.  Knowing her, I am looking for reusable/recycled, all-natural type gifts.  Or original gifts/ideas, or perhaps activities or services?  She has a healthy revulsion for the excessive, crass, and/or useless (for ex., she cringes at plastic crap and token "gifts",although, bless her heart, she manages to keep a gracious and grateful appearance.  But I have seen her "to donate" bag...)

Any ideas out there?  Crazy and outrageous (a.k.a. innovative) ideas are welcome. I am at the end of my rope.

Make her something with coconut oil! Crunchy gals love coconut oil. Get some essential oils like lavender and make her a belly balm or something. Wrap it up nice with a thoughtful card.

Get her a package of  comfy black cotton underwear.   Because seriously, who wouldn't love a few extra pair of giant black cotton underwear those first few postpartum days (weeks)?

To go into labour. I'm having very mild, sporadic contractions and I need them to firm up and get this child out

Also for my 2 year old to adjust readily to being a big sis. I need that almost as much as I need to get this kid out!!

About a dozen other things but these are the biggies. Labour vibes please :-)

A college degree.

Motivation to start sewing-for-money.

My anxiety to magically disappear forever.

And when The Hubby gets home, some sex.
