Dipes-my fav is cotton and wool too. I have no udea why my kids get a rash almost immediately though. I mean, if they wet when nalping, they'll be red when they wake. This time I'm going to try a lavendar wash for bum at changing. Fleece was the only thing that helped, even though it & pul are not my fav at all. I made some flannel/terry fitteds and going to make some flannel/terry prefolds, I think I'll get more use out of those. I found some wool wraps and going to look for sweaters to cut up. Elastic on covers is a problem too-seems we all are allergic. I'm determined this time and if rashes occur again so quickly I feel I'll just have to lay in a fleece liner, but at least the rest of the dipe would be natural as possible.
I love wool nursing pads
-I just found out amazon has a registry. I started looking through and can add cloth diaper stuff. There's not a lot I found yet to add, but it seems easier tgan letting my fam know about gift cards to a cloth diaper site. They want to buy some wool cover, it's fine by me I'm thinking it may be a good idea to put effort in and send to thdm so they realize we are using cloth again and nursing, so won't go buy us bottles, pacis, disposables etc I just feel so strange about registries. If someone has ine though I like to have it to see what they need. But third child? I don't know. It's been 6 yrs so we have nothing left really. We're getting the exp stuff like bassinet and car seat and have picked up some nb clothes already. So it's little non exp stuff left. Guess I should feel better about that.
Meks-I haven't asked. But going by last time, he wasn't keen on the idea. We made it about 30 min before ds2 was born to the birth center and he eas posterior. Was out maybe ten min after my water broke. Had that happened on the way both my mw and I feel we wouldn't have made it. So one of the mw wants us to be prepared in case I have no warning for labor like with ds2, but another mw would rather us try to make the drive, because they live the same distance from my house that we do to the bc. One good thing about the bc is in case of transfer the hospital is five min away. From my house it's 30-35 min. I think we're going to be prepared but see if we can get there. If my water breaks right off at home I'm staying home unless there's a problem. That's my plan and I really need to get dh to understand we just might not make it if that happens.
