Looks like MDC has a new way to quote things? Let's see if I did this right.
Anyway, try coconut milk? Just remember to mix/blend/froth/shake it up before you pour from the can, as the fat separates from the rest. I think it's awesome and when I went dairy-free for a month, I used that in my coffee. I'm really picky about coffee color and thickness and flavor, so I used witchygrrl's recipe of an egg, a can of coconut milk, and some coconut oil, blended up and kept in the fridge. It worked really well, if I used a frother on my cup of coffee.
You better hurry on the TM, mama! It's Cancer new moon and I think it's nearly over. Sorry about the accident-- did I remember that?

Oooh! Lurve cookbooks!
What do I think? Here: I remember once reading a recipe-- wish I could remember where from-- but I thought this was the COOLEST thing. The writer didin't just put in ingredients and instructions-- she also put in the magick, too, like "Stir 3x deosil because it does ____", or she'd tell the magickal properties of the spices, like cinnamon for heat/love/passion, or "Add love while you stir"...I loved it. What's a cookbook for Witches if it doesn't also have the magickal parts?
And yeah, you can't beat frugal

Indeed. I haven't bought a book or cookbook in ages, because I <gasp> decluttered the books. We use the library a lot more, now, and we have less Stuff! I love it. That said, I looked at a friend's cookbook not long ago, and might actually blow the bux...it's a Paleo cook book.
AFM: We're doing well in our new apartment. I am starting to find my way around this city, just a bit...I have to say, whoever coined the term "MASSHOLE" wasn't kidding. I have never seen such crazy, aggressive, inconsiderate driving in all my life. I'm 53 so that's saying something. Not even in Virginia Beach, where those people can't drive to save their lives. Those people are just ignorant and bad drivers. These people are those AND they're aggressive. Geez. You can NOT, absolutely not, drive on autopilot around here, not for one red hot second, not in your own neighborhood. It's scary.
My son still hasn't found any friends, nor can I figure out how to get him some. This street and this whole neighborhood is 3-deckers, and he's walked and biked all around, with no luck. He says everyone's under 5 or over 18 that he has seen And the worst part is, he just wants to spend all day-- I mean ALL day-- on video games anyway. If I have to go out and do stuff and I don't want to drag him along, I let him do that, but he's a beast when I get home and he doesn't want to take a break. Today I just went and shut the damn computer off. He is gonna not be on there all damn day, so ha.
It's not fair, though, for me--- gah--- M gets time alone, and ds gets time alone, and I get none unless I go out somewhere. I can be alone while ds is on his computer or Netflix, but that's not truly ALONE, in the house alone.
I need a job in two months. I haven't worked since 1999. Any ideas? Any of y'all work at home? Without being creative, I mean, for someone else. What do you do?
