Yoli28 - we have the same due date, March 21st! Although I'm hoping not to get too hung up on dates, I am fascinated that my due date for this baby is one day later than my due date for my 8 year old son! (He was born in February in the end though.)

I'm 35 and this is my 2nd child. I'm happily single, as I was when I conceived my first son. They are both conceived by donor insemination using the same donor. I have had a couple of relationships over the past 8 years but genuinely love being a single Mum. I live in Manchester in the UK.

I'm only 4 weeks so far but I found out over a week ago on a 'First Response' pregnancy test. Last time I was pregnant I started bleeding at 5 weeks and it turned out to be a blighted ovum and I miscarried, so I'm both very excited and a bit nervous. My boobs are SORE! lol.

Welcome!
Totally cool that you got the same donor! Congratulations!!

Thanks Beckily. I planned ahead and bought extra after my son was born and it's been sitting on ice for 8 years!  I got pregnant first time so I actually have 4 vials left - number 3 perhaps?? Although I'm British, the donor is American, so my son and this little bub are half American.

Congratulations everyone!  I just got a positive this morning!  EDD 3/24/14...baby #4.  We'd love to have another girl.  So far we have a son (5.5 yrs old), daughter (3.5 yrs old), and son (19 mo).  When this new baby arrives we'll have a 2, 4, and 6 year old ;)  All my babies have been born at home.  My sister is now practicing midwifery on her own (she has attended all my births, but the first one she was still apprenticing).  Last two births were so fast (1.5 hrs), she didn't even make the last one despite being only a mile away!  Excited to share this journey with you all!

Hi there! I'm Jen! I am due March 1, 2014... and I'm so excited! This was an unexpected pregnancy for DP and I, but we are so very excited. I have 3 kids (ages 3, 5, and 7) and DP has 2 (ages 6 and 9), so adding another will be an adventure! Can't wait to get to know everyone here :-)

I'm Sharon, 35, and pregnant with my third and this comes as a total shock.  I just got the BFP tonight when my period didn't arrive as it was scheduled to today.  My daughter is six and my son is three.  I'm a SAH/WAH and volunteer-at-home mom to two homeschoolers.  So I keep a very busy schedule, but I love it.  Unfortunately, I am looking at my third c/s after two attempted natural births with amazing midwives.  I'm OK with it.  My last midwife was absolutely incredible and said that natural birth is not the way for me. Anyway, I'm so excited to be here.  And it really is a total shock - I just donated ALL of my maternity clothes and cloth diapers to a local crisis pregnancy center.

Hi all! Our EDD is March 16th and it will be baby #3 for us. DS will be 5.5 when this little one arrives and I think (hope) be an excellent big brother. Things will be sort of complicated this time around as our daughter was full-term stillborn in Feb 2012 so we will all understandably have issues to deal with as time progresses. I am on anti-depressants and have been seeing a therapist so I'm actually feeling pretty "normal" about it all so far, I'm more concerned about my husband and son's mental heath!

One awesome thing is that I was able to get in with the midwife (and midwife group) that I was with last time, so it'll be great to have a healing pregnancy for all of us! (Due to circumstances around our daughter's birth, we ended up very close with the two midwives involved and have met up several times since).

One thing I haven't decided is if I'll bother with a doula this time. The first one I had was okay, and the last one was invaluable, but both times I was left feeling like they only cared because I paid them to. Honestly I know they can't keep in touch with all their clients, but I expected at least a bit more communication post-partum (or in the case of my daughter, some recognition on the anniversary).

I do know that I will want my son there for the birth. He'll easily be old enough and one thing that bothers him a lot is the fact that he never got to meet his sister (he was 3.5 and she was born too late in the evening). We'll have to see as time goes by if we opt for a homebirth or not.

Hi. I'm Tara, and I'm suprised to be expecting my 4th on March 5. I have an 8 year old daughter and almost 6 and almost 3 year old sons. We were done, and discussing a vasectomy for my husband when we found out I was pregnant, so I'm still a little in shock. I suffered from hyperemisis with my first three, so I'm not looking forward to the next few months. My first was a c-section after a very long natural labor attempt. My second was a natural hospital birth, and my third was a homebirth. This one will be a homebirth as well. We've already told a lot of people, including our other children. It's hard to hide it when you get as pukey as I do. I'm looking forward to sharing this experience with all of you!

Hi All,

I'm 35 and just found out I'm pregnant 4 days ago. This is my first baby. We were only 'trying' for 1 month! I'm still a little in disbelief, even though we are happy about it.

We'll find out for sure tomorrow at our first appt, but based on what I've calculated, we should be due on March 20th.

So far I've felt ok, mostly run down. My skin has decided to HATE me, though. I am waiting to hear from my dermatologist to see what is safe to take because my face is all broken out in a rash.

I hope this won't last the whole time.

Hi Chelsea, congrats. You are due on my birthday. :)

Congrats everyone! I am throwing caution to the wind here and joining early and without hesitation, despite the fact that this is my 8th pregnancy and I only have 2 children. Hoping this will be my third! EDD is 3/24/14. I am 38, DH is 40, DS1 is 5 and DS2 is 2. Looking forward to taking this journey with everyone!

Hey ladies!

I'm 24 and just found out today that I am pregnant. This will be my second child. DS will be turning 3 this October so it will interesting with a 3-year difference between siblings. Based on the "pregnancy calculator", the EDD would be around March 20th. I am hoping for it to be a little earlier by a week because that it is when my spring break is. I am still in college full time and will be for another year and should graduate in December 2014 with an Associates in Business Administration - Accounting. I am hoping to make my own virtual bookkeeping/virtual assistant business sometime after that.

DBF is really excited...like more excited than me. lol. He is 23 and is wanting to get into school this fall to be a chef.

This is actually making me nervous because I have a major fear that I will m/c or will have a stillborn...something like that. I had this same fear with my first.

So. It's too early to see if there are 1 or 2. Doc says we have to wait 2 more weeks. We did see 1 nutrient sac and cardiac flutter. Yey.
