1babysmom - I do T-Tapp too! Well, I try to when I get a chance. Is it working for you? I did it before I got preggo too.
I need to get into a fitness routine. I have a bridesmaid dress I need to fit into for a wedding end of Sept., which seems like a long way away but its really not. It will come up fast and I ordered my dress based on pre-pregnancy measurments (which in hindsight wasn't the best idea). I knew going in that my body does not like to give up weight while breastfeeding.
I have been stuck at the same weight, to the ounce, since Memorial Day. I need to figure out how to get passed this plateau. I have went jogging the past two days, so I'm hoping to keep that up this week. Before getting preggo I was jogging every other day and doing cardio kickboxing once a week. I hope to start that up again but it really is hard with baby, working, cleaning, cooking, etc to fit working out into my day.
My Dh likes to work out too, he goes to the gym and does a lot of lifting. I canceled my gym membership but our apt complex has a fitness room to use for free, I just gotta get my butt there. They even have free workout classes (like Zumba, Bootcamp, etc). The problem is the classes start at 6am or 6pm - both of which I cannot make due to work schedule. I got the Insanity DVD's from my brother which I wanted to start doing, but we live in an apartment and the DVD consists of a lot of jumping. I was going to my sisters to do the workout once a week for a while...I'll have to start that up again. Its a tough workout but feels great the next day.
I am just happy I went jogging two nights in a row. However, the only reason I went last night was because baby decided to go down at 7:30pm for the night. I really do feel good after working out and it gives me energy. Plus, my body responds well to working out, not just dieting. But like everyone, its tough to get a workout in when all you want to do is hold your little baby...while they are still babies. I think I need to start getting up at 5am and working out when everyone else is sleeping.
