Hi everyone. I wanted to ask for advice, ideas, anything really. My husband broke his leg at work on Friday and had surgery to put a rod in it. We're home now and last night we went to bed after putting our six month old daughter down two hours earlier. In order for my husband to get into bed safely, I turned the light on, which woke our daughter, and once my husband was in bed, I tended to her. I nursed her and she went down quickly. But she woke again when my husband got up to use the bathroom. I think the noise of the walker he is using did it. My husband was so bummed about waking her up continually that he resigned to sleeping in the living room. I'm going to give it a week in the hopes that a solution with present itself, but I am concerned.
I should add that we have a pretty small bedroom, just enough space for a queen sized bed, side-car crib, and if it's all pushed against our closet, enough room to accommodate my husband's walker.
