It is strange. Nearly three weeks out and I am still struggling to process and come to terms with it. It was so frightening and definitely wasn't anything like the empowering, healing birth experience I had hoped for. If nothing else I feel like my body is MORE broken than before. I have a 1 in 10 chance of having another abruption and it can happen any time during the pregnancy, so my dh and I are going to have to completely reevaluate whether or not we should attempt to have any more children. We had always hoped to have three but that might not be feasible now. I know we are lucky to have two.

As for the physical healing, my incision still hurts, I still see floaters in my right eye and, my goodness, I get so very tired so quickly even though my sweet baby sleeps for 3 hours at a time. Healing from a c section is hard! How are you doing Tenk?

Aww, I'm sorry you're still feeling so rough!! I'm going to say that's pretty normal post section. It gets easier with time, physically. I know when I ended up with a section after 24 hours of hard labor (baby boy 2.5 years after losing Kamryn) I was devastated bc I was looking for the healing experience yet that's how it ended. The pain eventually went away and I came to terms with how everything went. You have your beautiful rainbow smile.gif and there is light at the tunnels end ❤ the discomfort should go away more and more.

I'm feeling normal at almost 7 weeks PP. exhausted most days because sleeping 3 hours at a time just isn't my cup of tea, but that'll get better with time too smile.gif thank you fit asking!!

I can say first hand that c sections suck so does oxycotin. I wish you ladies a speedy recovery. I hope your backs don't ache like mine!
