Hi all! I am so excited to join this group -- looks very active!!
Hmm, I just posted about having no symptoms, but I have had more libido the last couple of days, so I guess technically that is a symptom! LOL!

I tandem nursed with my first and second. DS1 was 33 months when DS2 came along. I have to admit, I did not enjoy it much. I definitely felt touched out. And, DS1 was not sleeping through the night, and wanted to nurse at 5 am, right when baby was waking up to nurse. I remember many nights with DS1 screaming "don't hold the baby!" at 5 am. It was pretty horrifying. I tried nightweaning DS1 on several occasions at different ages, and it never worked. I followed the plan above, and even then, he would just stay awake for 3 hours when he woke up if I wouldn't nurse him, and then fall asleep only to wake up an hour later and want to nurse again. It was awful. I gave up after 3-4 nights each time. DS1 was persistent!! To this day, he is our more difficult one, and everyone has to know if he is upset -- very vocal. LOL! We finally ended up weaning him cold turkey the day he turned 3. While pregnant, he learned to live with limits on the amount of time he could nurse, but it was still hard for him. I made sure that DS2 did not end up as much of an addict as DS1. He is still nursing twice a day (wake up and fall asleep), but I'm pretty sure he'll be done before baby comes along -- will probably wean him at age 3 too.
