As a foster/would-be adoptive mama, this brought tears to my eyes. It stirred up all the love and hope I have for the children who are needing families. It reminded me why I want to get back into fostering. I need that once in a while, when my fears and self-doubt get in the way. I hope this advertisement causes some people to open their minds/hearts/homes to the idea of fostering or adoption. From the inside, we know it isn't all so cheery and rosy. But to open the conversation with the optimistic view, then add the obstacles (reality) later - well, that seems the right order to me.
