Woodworking Resources for homeschoolers

Hi there. Does anyone have any suggestions for simple woodworking for Waldorf homeschoolers? Something that doesn't involve a ton of money spent on tools? A friend of ours is leaving our Waldorf school and that's an area of weakness in finding info. Thanks!

Look up Sloyd. It's designed to teach woodwork to children. I have no idea whether it conflicts with Waldorf at all.

This is a great book, we have it and its seen a lot of use over the years http://www.amazon.co.uk/Woodshop-Kids-Woodworking-Projects-Build/dp/1884894534/ref=sr_1_9?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1374909029&sr=1-9&keywords=woodworking+with+children.

We've had the specifically Waldorf books eg those by http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toymaking-Children-Freya-Jaffke/dp/0863150691/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1374909122&sr=1-5&keywords=freya+jaffke and they are good for ideas and projects in a Waldorf vein but the book above is much better for building technique IME.
