I am a new birth doula who is working towards her certification. I just found out that one of my clients has been running a fever, has chills, migraine and high blood pressure. She is seeing the doctor tomorrow and if her blood pressure increases more than today, she may need to be induced at 35 weeks. I will obviously still with her the entire time and we are hoping for a vaginal birth, but are the odds against her? Any advise or thoughts for this new doula?
