The c-section advice is helpful to me, too. No plans for one, but better to know what's out there so I can write a contingency in my birth plan.
Cathy and Leigh, I am having similar nausea and clearing out. It's been going on for several days (I'm 38+5), so I'm not sure if it's a bug or labor prep. The nausea is really bad though and eating has become a chore yet again this pregnancy. Despite the optimism of those around me and my own wishful thinking, I would be veeeerry surprised if we see this baby any earlier than 39+6. Wow, I can't believe that's just about a week away though. Holy heck!
My doctor and my mom will both be out of town briefly tomorrow (well, today technically) and even though they could both make it back in a hurry, I am definitely going to keep still and my legs crossed for the day. Just in case.
ETA: Tonight we were at a friend's house and another lady there had a bit much to drink and kept yelling out "This lady needs to go to the hospital ASAP!"
I told her I liked her optimism. DH said "It's too late to get going tonight. Maybe in the morning after you've had a good night's sleep." Well I had to really laugh at that- like baby comes on a schedule and even more laughable- that I EVER get a good night's sleep lately. LOL!Edited by CraftyMcGluestick - 7/20/13 at 2:10am
