The Saner TTC-Thunder Moon - Page 27

That's awesome Wengrin! I hope the trend continues!
Thanks mamablue and Wengrin! Wengrin here's hoping for you - when will you find out in the bloods?
Chrissy - great to see you here smile.gif and thanks... It's funny since I decided to accept that I can do nothing to change the outcome - I've been feeling heaps more relaxed... You should join in our chatter on here wink1.gif
Mama blue - ill keep stalking your bfp lol!

Ladies who have experience, is it normal to feel mild- medium cramping almost constantly (14-16dpo) as well as tired and faint occaisionally... Just in case it's something I should worry about... Wengrin - when are you posting the poas pic smile.gif
post #523 of 677
Chourd - Is the cramping worse when coughing or having a bowel movement? If not, things are likely just fine. What you describe are common symptoms that people can experience when on progesterone support or when newly pregnant.
11dpo. Still a faint BFP. No darker than yesterday. I hope tomorrow is better.

Adding later: Eh, maybe it is a smidge darker, but it's awfully close.

Hey guys can I jump in? Congrats to all who received their bfps & fingers crossed for those of us who have not yet and are still waiting.

For those who had to see Flo's ugly face, hugs & hope for the next cycle!

Been getting faint (?)bfps for a couple days and today I'm 12dpo. I finally got one within the time frame but its still pretty faint. I worry they should be darker by now?

Cricket, I'm in the same boat as you. I think we just have to wait. I think it's a downside from testing so early. I will say that my tests have changed appearance as they pass the time limit and dry out. I've been getting my positives within the time limit, but after the time limit the color starts to shift. Still positive, but the color moves within the stripe. I kinda freaked this morning when my test came up the same faint-ness as yesterday. Now that it's starting to dry up, I think it might actually end up darker than yesterday after all. Not by a whole lot, but something. I'm leaning on that to keep me sane.

(Edited for clarity.)

mamaBlue! Ditto..

I also had awful experience last night whist walking my dog (see post about can trauma impact implantation) and so now I'm doubly doubtful but despite that I have shreds of hope! I'm just that way by nature and as so many say, it ain't over till its over.

Here's hoping for both of us we've got some chillaxed little spirits taking their time to snugly implant and that our lines grow stronger by the day!

Cricket, I haven't read your other post, but that sounds really scary. For what it's worth I have been told that during implantation and the following weeks everything is very resilient. Remember, women got pregnant on the Oregon Trail! And all throughout war and faminine in history smile.gif I will be hoping for darker lines for both of you! And Wengrin, too.

Ooohwee I'm so irritable this morning. Everyone in my family is driving me crazy (I think it's me, haha). So that is more "normal cycle" symptoms. So it goes, right?

Day 8 positive OPK, though.

Thanks mareseatoats (and goats eat oats and little lambs eat ivy!) I needed to hear that!  We just had a 40's party this past weekend and that song was on the playlist!

I think because we miscarried our first one (blighted ovum) and because I'm 40 I automatically assumed I'm already challenged and that everything needs to be the perfect set of conditions for this new little growing life! But you are so right! Hopefully this is all panning out to be a nice bright BFP soon!

Chuord- that is exactly how I felt this week. Like I would faint if I stood up to quickly (pregnancy can lower your blood pressure) and I had some pretty bad cramps on and off the last few days. I hope these are good signs for you!!!!!

Mamablue- the cheap internet tests aren't as sensitive. Is that what you use? I had been using the IC's but picked up some Walmart tests and they show the line much better. The IC tests are much more of a very gradual progression. I also read that the line won't get dark until the day of your missed period or after. You are still very early right? I bet things are fine. I also noticed that I had to let it fully dry before I could see that there was progress in the darkening of the line. Although ever so slight....fingers crossed!

Do you have access to Walmart? They are the cheap 88cent tests called First Signal. They give much clearer lines...must be more sensitive.

I am still cautiously optimistic but lines are getting darker! I haven't heard back from the doctor yet. I will call them before the end of the day....

Mares-I hope you are having a really strong O!? 8th day...I bet your hormones are driving you a bit batty. I get so hormonal around that time and around the time of AF. I mean really bad where I want to bite someone's head off.

Welcome Crickets! Hope these lines darken up soon. I have had 2 chemicals already this summer and it is so sad to get your hopes up and expect a baby, then it is gone. I guess it is better to happen early on than later...but still hard. I hate that it is even called a chemical...it is a baby for me as soon as I see a line. (Faint as it may be).

Thanks wengrin.  Totally I'm leery but hopeful! I'm with you too, if there is a line to me that says life's-a-brewin' in there!

Best of luck to all!

Morning all, watching your progress keenly over here... Not much to say except temp dropped below cover line today so I must be out despite everything else (I cheated and kept temping ) feeling a little disappointed but I'm sure I'll bounce back.... Meanwhile still having that cramping feeling which is not AF it's more achy than spasm.
Mama blue - cramping is not worse when coughing (I often get some with no 2 so nothing different there) when bladder is full the pressure feels increased, tight clothes over pelvis uncomfortable....
Best wishes to you all

Oh Chuord sorry, I know that temp drop is not what you wanted to wake up to. I had hoped the faint feeling and cramping meant something was "a-brewin" in there (Cricket). I really admire your strength and determination; you have such a positive attitude and not letting it disappoint you too much. On to the next month. (If AF shows).

Well even though my lines are faint, I got some good news- my betas came back at 84 which is right on track for 4 weeks. I can't help but be excited but at the same time I find myself trying to detach from it as much as I can, so that I don't get my hopes up (only to start bleeding again like last time). The good thing is my HCG is 84 one day before my missed period this time, and with the chemical it was only at 12 five days after I was already late. I didn't even test faint, faint positive until three days late. My hubby could never even see the line, but he got excited yesterday like "Hey I can see that!!" And didn't have his glasses on.

So I am holding on to that hope but trying to mentally prepare myself for the reality that being almost 39 is almost 40. Lol....I am trying to stay positive and keep a sense of humor about it. Whatever will be will be.....

Mamablue and Cricket- I feel like a faint line well before your missed period is a good thing!!! I hope the darkness progresses...even if it's just a little at a time, it still means it is going up. I thought my level would be 19 or so, seeing that the tests measure an hcg level of 20-25? But I am still getting faint line...and the level was quadruple that, so there is hope. The tests aren't as accurate as blood.

Mamablue are you a nurse? Seems like I remember you saying.

Take care everyone!! 😘

Wengrin - I'm so happy for you! That beta is awesome news!! Does it help if you just trust that what will be will be? I mean can you then be a little excited? If it were me I would be so happy... Also I love the fact the level is so high in the blood but not in the urine - it gives me a little hope for the whole late hcg test (bfn this morning)
Woohoo! So it looks like (touch wood) we may have at least two graduates this month....

Wengrin - That's an awesome beta! I am so happy for you! I understand your cautious joy, I feel that way, too, but I betcha your kick-butt beta brought you a huge relief. I hope my beta (probably on Monday) will bring me relief, too.

Chourd - I was hoping your temp would be high this morning. My wish is that it was just a fluke and that AF stays away. If things do not turn out that way this time, you must know that you have a huge team of us cheering you on!

Oxford - I'm counting down the days until your consultation. I'm looking forward to you getting your plan of attack in place, and treatment, if necessary, started.

Haha I don't even know! I tend to get hormonal, too. We BD almost every day this cycle, so I'm really hoping the positive OPKs are just somehow indicating I'm pregnant. I felt the O pinches on the second day of the + tests (and they WERE a lot stronger than normal), so I'm going with November 2nd as my O date and planning on testing around the 15th... if I can hold out. I wonder if the Vitex could be to blame for all the positives, though. Fx for twins! haha

That is great news! Ooh I'm so excited. Post a picture!

Chuord, I love your spirit. I'm so glad you are keeping the hope. Things certainly are different for you this month. Are you going to have a blood test at all? Seems like it might be worthwhile.

AFM - I talked to my sister in law today, and they are on their second month of TTC! She is such a sweetheart, she and DH's brother just got married and are hoping to get pregnant ASAP. I recommended Vitex to her and am going to try and get her to join here :) They're the only member's of DH's immediate family that aren't... problematic... so it means a lot to me to have a relationship with them.

Hi all. I've been lurking this whole time smile.gif Things are going well for me - I'm at 14 weeks now.

I ran across my pee-stick collection while cleaning today and thought I'd share for some reassurance for those of you not getting lines on ICs:

I believe I started testing on DPO 10. The first three tests have maybe a little something visible in-person but I can't see anything in the picture - not enough that I was sure. You can see a teeny hint of a line on the 4th test, which was around or after the time my period was due, and that's the test where I officially called it, but it certainly isn't blatantly obvious. The dark line is from some time quite a bit later.

Does anyone feel in need of IC ovulation and pregnancy tests? I'm feeling ready to pass on my unused ones.

(From me- Thanks Mamablue! I hope yours is super high!!)

(Me- I completely agree with Mamablue. Couldn't have said it better myself. )

(These are my thoughts exactly, too.)

Mamablue- you and I are thinking alike today. :-)

And Chuord, yes the way you helped me look at it, I think I will be joyful and excited for whatever will be. If it doesn't work this time, then it wasn't in the plan and it will unfold and work itself out later. I truly believe that our story is written for us, from beginning to end...we are just not able to skip to the end and see all the good stuff that we have yet to experience. Also trials and hardships make us stronger, help us to grow and experience things that we can somehow share with others or help ease someone else's situation because of whatever that thing is that we have had to endure.

I am FX'd for you that this is a good month for you Chuord. I think your symptoms are telling you something is going on in there...at least trying to settle in maybe. ??

Mares- You rock!! BD almost everyday!! I bet your hubby is happy. I am hoping that you had a super-O and that could be causing the LH strips to be positive. I have read somewhere that when people are out of preg tests they use LH because that will sometimes be elevated in early preggers!! :-)

Thanks everyone for the sweet and kind words and well wishes!
Web grin I agree too - Oxford I'm looking forward to finding out the best plan for you smile.gif

Mares - really every day?! Lol we need a trophy for that dedication!

Morning ladies (my night) I wanted to give a quick update, had strong cramping today, freaked out had Panadol (Tylenol) and one asprin... Hope it doesn't effect anything... Also got Ranee to do a balance... Feeling more calm now - still a little crampy and still the odd spotting... Will check temp in the am
post #540 of 677

Ocelotmom, thanks for keeping the hope floating! I got down this morn because my temps took a big dip.

Still above cover line but at 13dpo and a barely there bfp on Wondfo strip at about 10 minutes, I had lost some of my hope. So thanks for keeping it in check until its game over or game ON. I needed that little boost! * I just ordered 2 days ago 50 preg and 50 opk tests from Amazon, but thanks!

Chourd sorry to hear about temp drop too. But perhaps its just the wave pulling out before it washes good news ashore!
