I think it was Shana-Cat who asked in another thread about the eyes changing color...can't remember which one though. I had heard that by 6 months the general color is attained, but the shade can change up until about age 3. Even then, my eyes change depending on the day! Eye color is funny. Both of my kids were born with the steel-y blue gray eyes, and as the months progressed, DS's turned more blue, and they have stayed about the same color since. It happened pretty slowly I think between 4 and 6 months. I can't tell which way DD's eyes are going to go - some days they look like they are blue, other days like they could go brown.
The other thing that happened with my kids is their hair color is changing. They were each born with a head of black hair (DS with a lot more than DD). But it grows in blond. So there is a really awkward stage where the kids look like a balding man, because the ends of their hair is black and the roots are blond. It took DS about 3.5 months for his hair to grow out so that it was all blond, and to this day it grown in almost white blond at the roots and gets darker towards the ends. It looks like DD is going to be the same, although she has less hair, so I am thinking that the conversion may take less time.
What features are changing on your babies?
This is the only one where you can sort of see her hair...and it's definitely growing in lighter!! The other pictures are still on my phone, but I'll post another later of her funny looking hair swirl.
