I have Birthing from Within but haven't started it yet.  And I want to reread Ina May's Guide to Childbirth (read it when pg with #2)

I just finished Supernatural Childbirth and loved it! I'm also reading The Nourishing Traditions Book of Baby and Childcare - LOVE this too!

In previous pregnancies, I've also read:

The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding (great resource for after)

Childbirth Without Fear (LOVE this one - first book I read with my first baby - very empowering)

Gentle Birth Choices (this is great too)

Husband Coached Childbirth (goes with the Bradley Method)

The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy (kinda silly, but funny too)

What to Expect When You're Expecting (which I feel did more harm than good :)

I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head :)

I've never read Ina May's book (that I know of) so I may have to check that one out, too.

I'm reading Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering by Sarah Buckley - it was actually a recommendation from someone here at some point. I really really like it and would recommend it.

Spiritual Midwifery, The Alchemist. Spiritual Midwifery is a good one to do a bit of light reading every night. Lots of affirmative birth thoughts and positive stories and just real, truthful information about birthing babies. Great for anyone with birth fear!
