I thought we had all sorts of sketchy ddc members that are on the verge of spending time together in prison??.. What's another little germ related felony?  ;)  Ha ha.

I hope that Bettie gets better quickly, that sounds awful!  :(

Kali,  I'm glad that potty training is going well for you!  Coralie hasn't had a pee accident in 2 days, but poop is a whole other story.  We're having a language explosion here too.  I'm often totally blown away by what Coralie can say and the witty things that she comes up with.  She already seems to have a sarcastic sense of humor at barely 21mo!

OMG Ash, I'm so sorry about the pox ER visit!  How terrible for her and you!

Awesome about the potty, Kali!

Avery totally gives me sarcastic eyes.    I'll ask him a question and he'll give me those eyes and then answer, like "duh mom!"  It's really funny!

Hey, sorry to keep just popping in, promise I will do personals when I have better Internet access.

But wanted to pop in and ask for some prayers and good thoughts. My mom was diagnosed with metastatic cancer today. Completely unexpected. I'm feeling a little blindsided right now. We don't know yet where it originated, but we know it has spread to the brain. I'm getting ready to go meet her at the hospital. Could be a long night, so you ladies need to stick around and entertain me while I sit and wait all night.

Oh, Mal. greensad.gif I'm so sorry.

Kali, super jealous about the potty training. We caught the two pees last night, but he's wanted no part of it today so I put a diaper back on him.

Oh my, Mal. I'm so sorry to hear that! My thoughts are with you.

Sorry Bettie is having a tough time, Ash. Ouch!

I'm so sorry, Mal. grouphug.gif Keep us posted on how your mom and you/your family are doing.

Oh no Mal!  Im so sorry.  hug2.gif

The only reason I brought B to the ER was because I thought she was peeing blood and wanted to get a urinalysis done on her.  I never expected urethra pox.  The poor kid hasn't complained at all, she just asks for itch cream every once in a while.

Hugs Mal. Lots of them.

Mal, how is your mom's current condition? You mentioned you're at the hospital tonight, so I wasn't sure if she is in critical condition or is just having more tests?

Oh wow Mal, sorry to hear... Will keep you in my prayers... Lots of hugs... I will be around for a few more hours since it is only 7pm here right now.

Hope Bettie feels better soon Ash.

My yi is still bad... I was going to go to the doctor, but went to the pharmacy instead... I am glad I did! The doc would have prescribed difluca-one and they are about $50 for 1 pill (usually only takes one, I have had them before). Anyhow, found a genetic brand that you can get without a prescription for wayyyyy less and I had a $8 coupon for that brand. It was great to be able to get it so cheaply... So I took it, crossing my fingers that it works just as well as the name brand.

Don't know if any of you saw this...a friend posted it on Facebook, it is jointed from Canada and the US that this recall has happened. Just passing it along..

Mal, is there anything we can do for you?

Sonja, you can get diflucan over the counter? That's cool. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm feeling like a major dumb a$$ today. I had oats at 4, so I wasn't hungry at breakfast. Sara had the boys out of the house during lunch and I forgot all about it. Then I forgot dinner when I went to work. So I'm finally home and have the boys in bed and eating lucky charms for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Brilliant. And the helicopter is circling.

Just tests for now, but she is being admitted. We're waiting for the oncologist to come talk to her and find out what the plan is for the next 24 hours. Her condition is alright. She went to the doc because she was experiencing left-sided weakness. They suspected a stroke and sent her yesterday for a ct scan, which showed a mass. MRI and MRA today have led us here. I'm a glutton for punishment googling what's going on. It's not good.

Hope it works for you, Sonja!

Sara, you need eating reminders. Eat more food. Do you have something more nutritionally dense than lucky charms? Like an entire jar of peanut butter? When I used to have that problem 11-12 years ago, I used to drink ensure.

Google is bad, Mal!  It sounds like they will give you some answers pretty soon.  Try not to freak yourself out.  I know its easier said than done...

Sara, would you like to give me your number and I can text you and remind you to eat 3 times a day?  Totally serious.

I'm so sorry, Mal. Try to de-google. The oncologist will know much more than the interwebs. We are here for you.

Ash, good idea, I'm in too. Maybe we could start a business that texts people to tell them to do stuff.... I need someone to text me every few hours to tell me to study and stop biting my nails.

Mal, really, don't google. Be there. and more hugs.

Guys, I usually eat when I feed the children, when I feel hungry, when I see food. No children today meant none of those things. That's all.  I will sure as hell eat tomorrow. And text reminders from a different time zone would be funny.

Amanda, quit biting your nails (do you know what's under there?) and study. And what could possibly be more nutritionally dense than lucky charms?

I need a stop biting your nails texter, too. LOL

Please don't go to Dr. Google, Mal. He's dangerous.
I need a 'put down that cake' texter. It's pretty much the opposite of what Sara needs.
