Went in last night for some really bad pains. Not normal pains. Ended up being a strong UTI and an SCH.They said my HCG was abnormally high. It was right under 41,000. Baby had a hb of 115 though, so that was good!

So sorry to hear about your pain! I am in the same boat with the UTIs! Mine even spread to my kidneys and I was doubled over in pain! I don't know what your due date is, but when I was 7w2d my HCG was 45,000 and the doctor was very happy with that! So, I don't think that 41,000 is bad.. HTH!

I think mine was starting to spread, that's where some of the pain was.

I was 6w 3d but measuring 6.0 that day :)

Awful isn't it?? I will say, I felt like it would never get better... But it totally does lol I felt more like myself today!
And yeah, until this week I measured 2 days behind too! So I "technically" measured 7 weeks when I had an HCG level of 45,000. I really wouldn't worry, sometimes doctors are alarmists. (I know because I work under them and know just about as much as they do with half the pay.. lmao aka I'm a nurse!)

oh man! UTI's are horrible.  I had a few maybe 10 years ago...and have never had one since.  Have either of you used D-mannose as a preventative?  Works wonders. I haven't used it in years, but I always keep it on hand - also safe for children and easy to take in water. Check it out!

Wow, great. Thank you for the tip! I love alternate treatments and don't always run to get meds. I use garlic and yogurt for yeast infections, sometimes gentian violet!
