I taught my first calsses this week, but I´ve been meeting with students the two weeks before that. I had a break down last weekend, I didn´t want to leave my big boy.. but monday I was fine, as long as I´m busy I´m ok, sheesh I hate that I´m so emotional, I cry for everything...
Tonatiuh will be 10 weeks next weds, is a tough age for me, my sister lost her beautiful baby to SIDS at 10 weeks, so this week will be very emotional, just last night when we were having tummy time with babe, I was looking at how big and strong he was, and I just couldn´t wrap my head about a baby this age dying to SIDS.
With respecto to pumping, I´m actually pretty eficient. It takes 5 minutes of pumping to get about 7 oz or more, but I need to find a safe spot, I´ve been pumping at my office but it has a glass door and windows to a lab, either I need to put some paper up or need to find another more private room.
My house is not a mess, but this is the first week, we´ll see in about two weeks.
I´ve been dreading going back to the field, my trips are usually overnight, and I don´t want to leave Tonatiuh, so he is definitely coming with me, but it will be a challenge to bring him on. I can imagine me walking along the river (bird watching or monitoring deer) with Tonatiuh in the wrap, and while we are trying to spot a new species, have him start fussing the scare the birds away...it will be fun, once we actually are able to do it,
good luck to the rest!!
