So I posted a question about this awhile back and was still having a hard time thinking of something. She has everything she needs and has plenty of baby doll things (which she loves). She has been in Montessori school since she was 6 months old (I taught in her classroom until she moved on to primary this year). She went from not watching any TV to watching Mr. Rogers daily in my first trimester when I was so sick and now that I am at the end, we are back at that habit :) My husband emailed me this morning suggesting we get her this:
My thoughts were giving her something that would keep her busy and occupied during times of boredom (while I am nursing, etc). But I wanted to know if any of your kids have this and how you feel about it. I just feel like if I enter into these kinds of electronic games and toys this young, she will always want to use it and I am so back and forth about technology. Obviously we would set limits. We are more go on a walk, listen to music, make food, spend time together type of family. But technology is such a part of our culture now and she is almost 3.5 years old. Maybe I am over thinking it?
Do any of your kids have this Leap Frog? Would love to hear more opinions if you have this.
