I've seen lots of resources on basic infant safety in carries (example: http://babywearinginternational.org/pages/safety.php) but nothing beyond a few basics regarding what posture the infant should be in.
I thought I had DD secure in my ring sling, for example, and kept checking on her airway, but it wasn't till an hour later that I realized she had slumped down into a sideways bend so that her back had a bit of a "C" curve to it.
Similarly, in the boba wrap, I found that after a short walk, her body had moved from a mostly upright position into a sideleaning position with her back bent also.
I also worry that her back is too bent in other weird ways.
Are their any resources that talk more about this and it's effect on the baby's spine?
I want to make sure I am tightening and securing my baby in correctly. She is just a week old, so has little muscle tone to stay in position.
