I would love to see a blog post about how to teach a kid who is super smart, but doesn't want to be "taught".  He is resistant to anyone that tries to "teach" him something.  He picks stuff up on his own super quick, but only if he discovers it on his own.  But there are some things that are really better learned from someone else, not by lots of trial and error.  I'm not trying to manipulate or coerce or control, but sometimes I just wish he would let me explain or show something to him.  He doesn't read yet (though it's obvious he could if he wanted to), so learning on his own is still a little difficult.

Would love to win. I could really use a 3rd grade curriculum from OM! I always need ideas about using OM with multiple ages at a time, there is a lot of cross over but sometimes I feel like my littles just have to go along with what the bigs are doing and not their own projects.

I work 30 hours a week and try to balance the educational / emotional needs of each of my four children. We are new to homeschooling and I would love to hear how working parents make it work.

20 Questions About Homeschooling makes me feel connected & in touch with all the reasons why we choose to homeschool.

Sharing on FB and would love to win! treehugger.gif
