Thanks for asking! I'm back up to 160 pounds tonight but the good news is I was down to about 155 in the last two weeks or so and I bought an exercise bike on November 23rd, 2013. I worked my way up from 5 minutes at a time to riding for 30 minutes at a time, and I am confident that with that almost-daily exercise and our coming move, I will not only maintain a healthy weight but also hopefully lose some of this belly! (My youngest is three and I am still mistaken for a pregnant woman.) I discovered that listening to music while riding my exercise bike helps me ride much faster, even while I am singing along! :)

That is great news! Keep it up!
I find that it is harder to keep the routine up if I am too controlling about it.
My rules for staying healthy ....
I exercise.....a lot.... so if I want a brownie - I eat it. But on the whole - I watch every thing I put in my mouth and this includes portion control
I don't count calories but I am always cognizant of how much I've had.
I don't like to get hungry. I never never skip breakfast. Or any meal for that matter.
I eat a lot of protein and very rarely do I eat the 'white carbs'.....
I eat eggs for breakfast unless I'm working out then I will have a banana.
I cut small slices of bad food wherever I can....for instance -I don't eat ketchup. I don't use creamer. I only drink water.....etc etc
I eat food prepared at home. Processed and frozen foods are out....
I'm turning 44 this year - so I'm aware that my metabolism is fluctuating. I make sure to keep my muscle mass high so I do burn a lot of calories.
With all of that said - I don't worry if I have pizza. Or if I binge on chocolate pecan pie at Thanksgiving. I totally allow myself to give in to cravings and fun.
