How are you all sleeping?
pregnancy pillow or no?
waking up to pee??
I'm sleeping horribly. My husband has insomnia that is maddening, he wakes up 5-10 times a night to pee, raid the kitchen, or pace the house, thrashing the sheets/blankets and wrecking the carefully made bed ( before i was with him I never had to fully remake my bed every day because I could just recover it and everything always stayed tucked in and perfect... now I am refusing to make the bed because he THRASHES IT-- like the blanket that goes in the middle will be on the floor, the sheets will be completely ripped off his side, even the fitted sheet will be coming up off the edge- it's so annoying!!!)
He also eats all the yummy food that doesn't have to be prepared. If there is a jar of peanut butter or almond butter he will eat half of it per night. Last night he decided to eat all of the date-almond rolls that we had in the fridge, which I am pissed about because they are my favorite easy snack right now. Despite him eating everything, it's 6'0 170 pounds and super fit... just has a crazy metabolism and stresses enough to burn all his calories. The sleeping thing is driving me crazy. I am literally going to start drugging him with herbs tonight- I cannot take this anymore!!!
how the heck does he think it's going to be with a newborn?? He has full coverage health insurance but refuses to go do a sleep study. I used to work at a health food store and brought him home a zillion free samples of all sorts of sleep herbs... he doesn't take them unless I literally take the capsules and put them in his hand with a glass of water.. I dont want to have to act like his mom. I just wish he would take some action on fixing this sleep thing more seriously because 2 sleep deprived parents does not make for a happy life- I know that!! We do have a spare bedroom with a mattress in it on the floor temporarily (its' on craigslist for sale) that he could sleep on separately to not disturb me, but then he's still getting up !! He also insists on having a huge glass of water by the bed and then he gets up to pee -- but he won't take my advice and just stop drinking water after 7. Is it too much to ask to be able to sleep in the same bed as my husband and sleep through the night BEFORE the baby comes?? He is driving me crazy.
