Pedi recommendation. Upper Valley NH

I'm looking for a pedi recommendation in the upper valley area. We live in Claremont, and had a HUGE falling out with our pedi. I am for someone who is ok with us not vaccinating/not doing well check up visits/takes the natural way first. I am not sure a naturopath is an option for our insurance. Thanks!

Hi! I'm going to bump this for you in hopes you get a recommendation or at least a suggestion of where to look. Good luck!

Is the hospital in ascutney hospital too far? I've heard they are good. If you like I can ask my friend who she uses.
There are Many who love DHMC. I am NOT one of them.

I'm on the other side of the valley...about an hour north...so I'm useless but...
Also uppervalleyparents has a yahoo group. They might help.
Good luck.

Thanks. I had a horrible horrible er visit at ascutney. The doctor had never heard of natural family planning!

My midwife suggested i look into nina maccamble. She is a family doctor, who has an interest in holistic medicine. I am meeting with her later this month. I'll post an update when i do!

Ugh!

Yea...at dhmc I had an obgyn tell me (while I was pregnant with my daughter) that there was no way I could be pregnant because I was breast feeding my then toddler. She told me I had to go on progesterone to force my period! I went in to get blood work to confirm the pregnancy...she refused to order it. So I get it!

I'm glad you got a recommendation.

Claire Bolon is a wonderful pediatrician. She calm, compassionate and open-minded.

I've heard good things about Nancy Turkington.  I'm looking for a good family dentist that respects parents, AP friendly, allows parents in rooms, and uses NO mercury.  Anyone suggest anything?

Bauchner in Norwich is pediatric dentist. I think he avoids mercury. He is not a family dentist but I'm happy with him.
