Pregnancy Symptoms? - Page 4

I always have diarrhea in the beginning of my pregnancys. It's usually one of my first symptoms.
Verdahekawi I am sending sticky vibes your way! Have you thought about getting a blood draw to see where your levels are? Maybe that would put your mind more at ease.

I wanted to get one initially but my midwife didn't think it was necessary. I peed on my last test (yay three packs) a couple days ago and it was way, way dark - twice as dark as the control - and that was after the first time I had spotting like this. I'm still curious and may ask about it again. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow. But I also know that there's not much to be done at this point if things aren't quite right. I just really want a drama-free pregnancy, we've been trying so long :(

Extreme tiredness. I didn't think it was possible to get prego symptoms this early, but my progesterone is over double what they were looking for. They said it needs to be at 10. Mine was 23 for my first blood test. So, perhaps it's pregnancy related after all!

It's always one of my symptoms.

I'm dead tired today. I was ready to take a nap at 9am.

Hi ladies!

Belle here, expecting baby #2. I'm only about 5 wks along. I guess I should be happy I don't have anything too crazy right now. So here's my short list.

Breast - DD breast now feel like they've expanded to DDDs. They're sore, tender, and veiny. My nipples are darker too with little small dark spots around my areola.

Bloated - my relatively flat tummy is already protruding from gas I suppose. So there is a bulge. No complaints on having my body change through pregnancy...I kinda like it....minus the fat feet and nose (sorry memories of carrying DD).

Sleep - I seem to have some sleep disturbance. I find myself waking up around 1 am to check on my DD, house, etc. a recent break-in in my neighborhood has had me a bit more anxious than usual.

Fatigue - I am a working mom...we're living abroad, while I work for a humanitarian organization, so all the road trips/flights are burning me out. By 3pm, I'm beat!

I don't remember diarrhea my last pregnancy, but I've definitely had it this one. I've also been freezing a lot, which is so backwards from my last pregnancy. Well, freezing interspersed with intense hot flashes. This baby's really got to be a girl. It is so different from last time!

I am still having waves of nausea, mainly in the evening. My spotting has stopped which is awesome. I didn't have implantation bleeding with my last two pregnancies so it was freaking me out. I'm glad it's over and praying it doesn't return.

Not a pregnancy symptom but ugh I am getting a cold.. I am praying it doesn't turn into a sinus infection. Pregnant women should not be allowed to get sick!

  • Verdahekawi, I'm so sorry to hear about the spotting. I understand your point that there's not much you can do, but it's important to know what's going on, darn it. Can you see her after the weekend? I've got all my fingers crossed for you.

I've never gotten diarrhea with pregnancy, quite the opposite in fact. Goes to show how everybody's different! I'd rather have that than the horrible constipation that gave me hemorrhoids in my two previous pregnancies, sigh.

I'm six weeks tomorrow and the nausea has officially become too strong to ignore, even in public, and is interfering with my life. This morning my oldest was begging for breakfast but I couldn't get off the couch without the world spinning and me thinking I was gong to vomit on the carpet. Then I spent the day on a Want To Puke - Puke - Sit Down - Want To Puke Again cycle. Ugh. I knew this was coming but it doesn't make it any more fun. I hope I don't have to get an IV in my arm this time. I hate spending the whole day finding excuses to sit; I have two kids and can't cheat them like this.

The good thing is that I'm still eating, and I'm trying to stuff myself full of high calorie foods like burgers and pizza to minimize the inevitable weight loss. Only two more months of puking to go, ugh.

Thanks Anaralia. It was only pink/red first thing this morning and then had some brown tinged CM the rest of the day and now it's stopped. No cramping at all so maybe it was just a fluke? Though it does concern me that my morning sickness, which I've had pretty much since the beginning since it was the reason I tested at 10dpo, was nonexistent today. So I'm crossing my fingers for no more spotting and a good bout of dry heaving tomorrow morning, lol. My boobs still hurt like hell and I'm still backed up like a hard drive so I'm hoping this one's still nice and snug in there. I'm not planning on an early ultrasound because I know my dates and hoping to avoid doppler too but I think it might drive me crazy to wait that long to hear the heartbeat. Hoping to get in touch with my midwife early next week and see what she thinks.

ETA: This is TMI but the spotting was after straining harder than usual to go to the bathroom (the joys of pregnancy constipation). So I'm wondering if maybe that just irritated my cervix?

The only symptoms I have had are constipation, sore breasts, fatigue, and an increase in appetite. Yesterday I had a little bit of nausea probably due to being scared and anxious to have the pregnancy confirmed. My next appointment is the 26th for the US the nursing visit and blood tests.

I forgot about the cramping. I have had light cramping as well.

I just got my BFP this morning, but I knew at about 5DPO when I started having round ligament pain. It lasted for two days, I assume it had something to do with implantation? It also suddenly hurt to nurse DS, although my nipples didn't get sore like they did with my first pregnancy. Other than that, so far no changes in appetite or energy. Nausea set in at 6 weeks last time, so we'll see!

After all that, I woke up soooooo constipated this morning. Yikes.

I'm pretty sure I posted about this before, but all the excess CM is making me NUTS! I'm constantly afraid I'm bleeding, but it's just more sticky CM. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm mildly concerned because it's also green sometimes, but I'm wondering if that's because I have a cold. Does your CM get green with a cold like your respiratory mucus? Anyone? It's not foul-smelling or frothy, so I kind of doubt I have an infection. Oh, the joys of pregnancy!

It started with hair loss, and quite frankly I do not have much to spare!!!  Then I had absolutely NO desire to eat chocolate.  I thought my period was coming due to my extremely painful breasts and cramping, but after 8 tests it looks like there is a baby on board!

Me too, and I totally don't remember that from my last two.  I was starting to wonder if I had an infection, but like you, it's not "icky" just sticky!  Anyway, it seems to be diminishing.  I've had a mini-cold too, so maybe that's a part of it.  I always have a fair amount, but it's seemed excessive lately!

Same here. I noticed this and was worried. But its apparently normal unless its green ore bloody so maybe on the safe side talk to your doctor. It is really annoying.

Wow, I think I hit some sort of wall the last couple days.  I've been sooooooo tired, that I can barely keep my eyes open.  And I'm almost nauseous, just on the edge all day today and half of yesterday.  Feels like I could just sleep for a week.

I've had trouble with that too. I found out a tablespoon of coconut oil before bed really does the trick the next morning with out being *too* helpful ;) The last few days have been a lot more comfortable!

Unfortunately I still have light bleeding but I peed on another FRER this afternoon and that line is basically as dark as it can go. Trying to get in touch with my midwife to do a serial beta HCG to see whether the levels are still rising like they should, right now I have no idea whether this is going to be a viable pregnancy or not. Still trying to be hopeful but feeling less hope every time I go to the bathroom, and the fact that I've had two other early losses (in 2007 and just three months ago) and this is my longest pregnancy so far at only 6w2d makes me rather pessimistic.
