"To Do Before Baby Arrives" Lists! - Page 3

Having a bit of a hormonal freak out day. My husband works in landscaping, but during the winter he is on snow removal. We've been having ice today and it looks like 4 to 5 inches of snow tonight. Which means he won't be home for at least 24 hours. I'm only 36 weeks (will be 37 Sunday), but we still have so much to do...and the more he is gone, the less gets done. Also every time there is snow on the ground I get freaked out because I'm planning on a hospital water birth in a town about 45-50mins away. : / Anyhoo, to help clear my head and calm me down (because everything is going to be alright!) here's my updated list:

Baby:

Sidecar crib to bed

Fix car door (driver door doesn't unlock once you lock it), then install car seat

Wash remaining baby clothes

Make stretchy wrap (waiting on fabric to come in the mail)

Labor:

Playlist

Labor Aid (buy supplies and make a batch ready to go)

Buy snacks for me and DH

Get cooler from parents to bring home placenta

Buy bags of ice

Print out extra copies of birth plan

Make digestive tincture for labor (to help with nausea)

Finish packing hospital bag: Makeup, hair brush, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap

For DH: change of clothes, swim trunks, toothbrush/toothpaste

Home:

Deep clean bathroom and kitchen (clean oven)

Make 5 more extra meals to freeze

Me:

Buy a few good shirts for nursing

Get roots done/hair trimmed

Husband:

Go over acupressure points for labor

Finish reading hypnobabies birth partner guide

...The car seat/car door is the biggie. After that is taken care of, I will be able to relax more. : ) Also just wanted to sing praise for a minute because my midwife just informed me that my GBS test came back negative! : D

I know I relaxed a lot once the car seat was installed in the car. I am waiting for my pool noodles to show up so I can finish side carring our crib to our bed. They should arrive today.
