Thank you for sharing! Good for you ds taking an interest! We are still looking for the right assistive technology for my ds, but he has more problems with writing at present. I think he will have access to textbooks using bookshare.org, but I do not know, if that is done computer or what device. I will certainly ask his teachers about the kindle fire, now.

Writing is even more of an issue for us, as well. But I figure that one is not too motivated to write if one can't read comfortably. OTOH, that doesn't seem to apply to my dd.
