Jumping in the on the new thread! All is well here...

I'm so happy you can finally move forward NaturallyMo!!

Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't written in forever. I know I should be on here more often but I am just struggling with stuff within my own mind.

However, for the first time in 3 months or so, things are starting to settle down and starting to come together.

My husband was hospitalized for 8 weeks (got out Aug. 7th so that is a big deal, however, he is still on bed rest at home and out of work); so I am a bit overwhelmed with trying to take care of the household etc.

He is looking at a grief support group to help work through some of his feelings concerning his car accident etc. (he is in a wheelchair and its been a difficult transition over the last 3 years).

I just started 2 Master's courses on Thursday, so I need to get organized this weekend.

Thursday, I also started a 6 week (1 morning a week) class on dealing with anxiety and depression support group. I am hoping that I can get a handle on things without going back on medication- since we are looking to conceive.

I had a job interview yesterday (Friday) for a part-time position at the library which would be a great opportunity.

However, we went to the doctor on Thursday and we have gotten the ball rolling concerning a referral to the fertility clinic. A couple steps need to occur before the referral goes through:

1. 4 blood tests for me *day 3, day 8, day 21 -- will have to wait until October, AF started yesterday

2. Husband needs a physical- currently scheduled for Oct. 9th

Rose have you tested again yet? I would be going mad if 4 days late for AF!!

I am CD 13 today, good pre-O type cm yesterday and today so it's looking good for O'ing early this coming week. We are just waiting to hear from dp's work if he might need to be away on business or not... if so this month will be out, so really hoping he gets to stay home until the end of next week and not the beginning!

Tinytina hope things settle down for you soon and good luck with the appts!

Hi ladies,

May I join? I'm fairly new to this whole thing, I thought I registered much earlier, but I guess I didnt. I'm 9DPO and this is the 4th cycle that my hubby and I have been trying. I'm doing my best to stay optimistic despite the fact that everyone around me is getting pregnant.

Thanks!

Welcome and good luck Siuann. Fingers crossed for ya hope this is your cycle.

Hi ladies...

Winter- FX that all goes well with best O timing for you!

Siuann- welcome! It's totally normal to take several months to get a bfp, even with no fertility issues. Before I had any issues with SI (secondary infertility) it still took about 5 months to get DD, and 7 months to get DD2. With DD3 it took 22 months due to SI issues. Hope this is your month!

tantylynn- so glad to hear all is well! :)

tinytina- Sounds like you guys are going through a lot. Hoping things go well from now on. :)

delightedbutterfly- Oh thank you again! You are awesome. :love

See ladies, so if anyone wants to go to the trouble of looking at my maybe lines, copy and pasting the link from yesterday should work...:shy Will try to do the link thing right next go!

AM so another test today looked about the same. Maybe a squinter, maybe nothing. But I'm figuring I am 5dpo today not 12 like FF says I am. So there's still time! Temp spike again. If it is this high now, it will have nowhere to go later in my Lp, lol. I'm sure it doesn't mean much though.

Hi, I'm new here. Well, I've been lurking for a while, but figured I'd finally introduce myself! My husband and I are trying to conceive after his vasectomy reversal. The surgery was May 15, so while this is our fourth cycle of TTC, we're not expecting any success for a few more months. At his first post-op sperm analysis, his count was still low but motility was good. He had another test, but the doctor hasn't called us back with the results yet. headscratch.gif We're hoping the situation is improving! Moreover, I'm ovulating today, so we're really hoping we can stop worrying about it soon! :nut

If my last cycle was August 20 and I have a 30 day cycle when is the soonest I could test? Thoughts on most sensitive test? With my first 2 children I was never this anxious....but this time I really am.

Tara2 I can't get your link to work or edit it as I'm on my phone.

But if you go to photobuckets site and make sure you are on the desktop version (only if you are on your phone or mobile device) on the bottom right hand corner you will see "Links for sharing" or similar. Copy the IMG code and then just paste it directly into your message here. No need to link or anything. That's all I did for the old pic of my dog below smile.gif

Testing dates are really based on Ovulation dates. You can have a 30 day cycle but whether you O on CD 10 or CD 19 makes a difference smile.gif I would say if you don't know your O date then wait at least a until a couple days before AF is due smile.gif

I'm just jumping in because we just decided to TTC our 4th child. I am waiting to know I thought I O'd early in my cycle (I don't chart) and been with increasing harsh pregnancy symptoms since post 4dpo however there was doubt in regards to conception and DH asked if I wasn't pregnant that we could keep trying (not pull out) I became thrilled at this idea. So I'm just counting on viable sperm at time of O and crossing fingers and hope this is our month!

Thanks Tara, we will make sure to bd tomorrow for sure now that we know dp is going to be home :) And I expect to O on Tuesday, so will have perfect timing this month.

Fingers crossed we all catch the egg this time!

Lovely dog there delighted!  I also could not see the link to the other picture...

Tara2... there is something weird going on with your photobucket... I can see it if I copy and past into my browser but when I went to your IMG code it was not in the right format... You can simply upload straight to mothering though :) The picture of the mountains and sun to the left of the film strip should allow you to direct upload. I have no clue what's going on with your stuff!

Welcome! Of course you can join. Everyone is welcome! We lost so many mamas to BFP's last cycle that I'm hoping the trend continues this month!!!!!! I totally understand the "everyone around you is pregnant" feeling. I have that, I also have a few friends who are trying and going through some infertility stuff and it's hard, because as much as I want to be pregnant and am dealing with my own issues of getting that way, I want them to be pregnant before me so I don't have that guilt lol

Welcome! I'm so happy to see so many new faces! My DH was the one who decided we should just TTC now as well!

Awww thanks ;) She's changed so much since then, it was just a neutral picture on my photobucket that I could add lmao!

AFM: CD44 my temp is back up again/still? losing my mind here. I seriously don't know what to do. I just want AF to show. I keep thinking about testing again, and then remember that it's probably going to be negative so what's the point right?

UPDATED TO HERE

I just wanted to share this great infographic I found a few months back.  It helps me not stress about whether or not I should be having symptoms yet!

Hopefully the link works!

Today is 7 DPO for me and I am starting to have some minor pinching and twinges, but trying not to read too much into it!
