Anyone have any experience with multiple pregnancies????

"They" say a good percentage of pregnancies start out as multiples but the odds are really against both/all of them surviving to a point where they are detected. Who really knows how many of us conceived twins but never knew about it because one was reabsorbed before we ever had a chance to find out? Maybe it explains how some women can get dark positives much earlier than others, their hCG rises very quickly with two embryos but returns to a more normal level when one passes. If it happens in the first week or two after implantation, there's really no evidence to point to that second one ever existing.

Just popping in to say BFN at 11DPO.  But my spotting has stopped!  On the other hand, my temp dropped.

Thoughts: I O'd sometime between temping yesterday and today, but the last time we dtd was late thursday night. TMI but CP is still HSO so is it worth doing it again? I know I've heard before that by the time you know O has happened it is usually too late. Opinions welcome!

bfn this morning, blah. guess I'm waiting to know.

I ran into a girlfriend the other day, that I hadn't seen in a while; apparently it had been even longer than I thought because she was carrying her 4 month old and I didn't even know she was pregnant. anyway, she told me that they tried for a *year* after she went off depo (and she's younger than I am). so I guess I really need to be patient.

I haven't checked in much this week since we've been on vacation, but while we were gone I got a BFP!  :joy

It hasn't sunk in yet!  I'm hoping that as we get settled in back home that it will all start to feel more real.  This is baby number 3 for us.  With baby #2 the pregnancy flew by and I just wasn't able to experience every moment of it like I did with the first so this time I plan to be very intentional with the whole thing and love every moment of it!

Wishing you all BFP :goodvibes

AF is here, so delightedbutterfly, please move me to waiting to O.  Thinking of the positives -- reasons why it's good to have another month delay and also I'm just thankful to even be getting to try at all.

OK, delightedbutterfly.  I guess I can try if no one else wants to.  I cannot promise it will be updated at super regular intervals though...sometimes during the week I cannot check in at all.  So anyone else out there wants to take it, please do!

Yay, great news, jennmk13!  Congrats and best wishes to you!!

Can you move me to waiting to know? I think I ovulated but my temps are a bit wonky this cycle. I got the crosshairs on FF but I'm not sure they are correct... If I knew how to link my chart I'd show yall. :/  Gratz to all the BFPS!

12 or 13 DPO, more likely 12. Started bleeding this afternoon. Its "light" and not flowy yet but I'm suspecting it will just get worse as time goes on. I told myself this morning that there was no point in testing because I'd 'know' sooner or later. My luteal phase is almost always shorter my first cycle after birth control so I'm not really freaked out at only 11ish days. I guess maybe I'm not officially there but I could still be moved to Waiting to O anyway. Its pretty much inevitable.

I've kept up on the reading but not on my own replies. lol

To all the bfps CONGRATS!!! jumpers.gif

To all those dealing with AF, I'm sorry. :Hug not fun. If I could I'd send you all some chocolate!

AFM...whoever is thread keeper you can move me to 2WW at your next convenience. I'm only 3DPO right now but my temps are so much higher and all the other signs agreed that indeed O should have happened. Last month I wasn't temping and thought I might have had a short LP so at least this month I should know for sure if that is an issue or not. Trying to stay optimistic either way, a bfp would be awesome but even knowing if  I have LP issues would be valuable info that I'd be thankful for. Even if this cycle doesn't end up being the magical one, being a part of this board and getting to switch my status is ridiculously exciting. It feels so hopeful to know that their is a new bit of promise each month.

Congrats to the BFP's!!!

I am still waiting to O which should be in 2 days, but the OPK test didn't give me a happy face this morning...? Maybe it is a day later... Temp is still low.

I am not panicking this month. No stress! Trying my best to keep DH intrigued every night :)

jenmk!!! congrats on your BFP

Hey there! Still no news here. I have no accurate idea of when I O'd because despite taking OPKs for two and a half weeks, with no positives, I would say I didn't O this cycle. AF is due in about 5-6 days so I'll just wait for her to make an appearance. I'm probably out this cycle so you may want to move me to Waiting to O.

Thoughts on trying every other day vs every day? I've been trying every day during fertile window, but it's hard maintaining that routine!! Wonder if every other day is just as effective. Not sure about hubby's sperm as he's never had it analyzed...but he's gotten me pregnant twice before so I don't imagine he has issues.

I'm going to say every other day. Sperm can live in the body for a few days so you should be ok there. Plus, according to my physician, you don't want to "drain the viable sperm dry" (TMI, sorry). Give hubby a few to recover and let his boys fill back up. Plus it will also give you guys a chance to rest in general, which we know is important when trying to conceive. Good luck!

Awesome it's all yours unless someone else steps up, I'll update it until the end of today and you can just copy and paste and then post the new link to the end of this thread :) I try and update whenever I'm on, but sometimes I can't. It seems I am pretty regular at every three days, sometimes longer and some shorter. The threadkeepers magic baby dust passed me, but I'm hopeful it will find you!

Every other day is actually the preferred timing by most doctors. It gives a chance for sperm to build back up and stay healthy since it's constantly changing. And since it can live inside you for up to five days then every day is usually overkill unless it's a want ;)

I hate when AF arrives but its so light the first day that you're not really sure if you should mark CD 1 or POAS one last time, just because.
