I have a teenager

I have no idea where the time went. DS is 13 as of yesterday morning. Somehow time flew by and my baby is now a teenager. I must admit I got a little teary eyed last night.
He is still funny, quirky, silly and the same person - I know that, but gosh 13?? really?? Where did all that time go?

I know, I feel the same way when I look at either of my 4 kids. my youngest is 11 months as of the 3rd, my baby girl is 3 years, my second is about to be 5, FIVE, and my first is a whopping 7 years old. I can only imagine how I'll feel once they turn the big 1 3. Time seems so slow in the moment but you look back and its like a flash.

Congrats mama!  Time sure flies.  Many say teens are so hard or awful, but I've found the last year + to be pretty neat.  They are so grown up in some ways, so young still in others.

I know what you mean, I keep saying I must've blinked.  Now I have a 16 year odl.

:hug

Today is our 3rd daughter's 18th birthday.  EIGHTEEN.  Believe, me, I know the "I blinked" feeling!

Hug him a little harder...my 12 yo son just started being physically standoffish if we're in public.  That make me teary every time, even though I know it's normal.

love, p
