My baby won't take a pacifier.

We've tried three. We didn't introduce any till about 5 weeks. Now, she just pushes it around with her tongue and pops it right out. She REALLY likes to comfort nurse but my nipples so t like that as much. How many pacifiers did you try? Should we give up and be glad she doesn't take one, long term?

We've tried 3 or 4-- two were pretty similar so I don't know if it counts as another type. Julia either chokes on it from the get go or spits it out after a few sucks with a look of total disgust. We are trying to introduce it for soothing in the car, so I hope to get some good tops

Have you tried the born free brand? The package says its shaped like mom's nipple. We have tried two kinds (that and soothies) and Noor takes them both so I'm not much help here. Good luck though. We don't use them much but it is really helpful when she just needs to suck for a few minutes to fall asleep; so I hope you can find one that works for you too.

Iris sucks our fingers. Not the $20 worth of different pacifiers we've bought. My uncle the pediatrician called her a smart kid...

ditto. It just sucks when she is fussy in, say, the carseat, and we have dirty hands.

Ruby will take one once every few weeks. Mostly she just plays with it and chews on it. She will not take one to go to sleep so I don't have much use for it anyways.

We tried 4 or 5 different kinds and the only one she had ever actually sucked properly on was soothies.

My oldest didn't take a souci either and we managed somehow. I'm not super worried about it at this point.

Elliott will only take one when he's tired, so it works pretty well. Except in the car, when he's not tired just ANGRY.

Jaya won't take one either. Except recently she started chewing on one since the miracle grow baby is teething already. It still doesn't stay in for more than a minute thugh. I can't till she's old enough to hold a teether

Griffin does the same thing as Julia. But he sucks on his fist and gets really mad that it wont go deeper into his mouth but refuses a pacifier,. sigh.
