Anyone not finding out the gender? - Page 2
Ok, funny story. We didn't want to know what we were having. But, my midwife says the Anomaly Scan is important to do for home-births and I really trust her so I do that scan. I did this scan in my past two pregnancies and it never gave away the gender. I think digital imaging has improved since my last pregnancy (6 years ago). Well, I go in to do the scan and the doctor asks me if I want to know the gender and I say no. Well, he's doing the scan and I'm looking at all the images in the screen. It's all pretty interesting, some parts are easier to identify than others. The doctor never told me what I was having, but I think I have an idea now ;) Bottom line is, if you really don't want to know what you're having than close your eyes when getting an ultrasound, especially when they measure the femur (the thigh bone).
