Uterine Lining Post-Depo Provera

Hiya. I'm discontinuing Depo Provera (after 2 shots) because the side effects suck. There's really no point in being on birth control if you aren't doing anything that could lead to pregnancy, yk? Anyway, my last shot "expires" in two days. It is only "guaranteed" (99.7% effective) for 13 weeks but it comes with a warning not to take it if you want to have a baby in the next year or even two because the average return to fertility is several months. I started charting again a few days ago and I already have EWCM. I have the feeling I'm going to be waiting a period of days to a few weeks, not half a year until pregnancy is possible again.
I'm not sure if I want to have another right now though. I'm just wondering if I'd be better off avoiding, regardless of how I feel, on the basis of being able to *stay* pregnant. I don't want to get pregnant, on accident or on purpose, and miscarry because I was fertile before my body could actually support a pregnancy. About how long would it take for my lining to 'grow back'?

OP, I hope your TTC goes joyfully! It looks like your post might have been missed, so I wanted to bump it up for attention. :bump: Anyone have experiences to share?
