Where does your Montessori child do their homework?

Yes, I do realize that not all Montessori schools give homework, and that much of it is not traditional, but when your kid does have papers/books/math/research type of homework, where do they do it?

I need to set a workspace for DD1 - my parents very kindly bought her a desk from neighbors, but I realize now that it is too rickety and doesn't have room to spread out her books and papers.  True to her Montessori classrooms, DD1 is doing her homework on the floor.  It's just not ideal for us, as we have a small house and she is eating up the space in the middle of the walking space in the LR/DR.

So what is a good workspace for kids in Montessori?

Homework is not Montessori. It's just not.
So it's really the same issue as any other homework and can be done at the kitchen table, at a desk in the childs room, or elsewhere like a tutors house or at school in after hours. Personally I like the idea of the child doing it at their desk in their room. But if they need help then the dining table.
