Maine Mama - love the prep! I'm going to choose a seasonal beer for myself at the store tomorrow for just such an occasion - less festive, but ohhh man am I craving one. Tis the season! Apparently. Lol. A hard cider will do the trick nicely. And as someone who's been having these blasted NSTs and fluid ultrasound scans weekly (the NSTs are twice weekly!), I can tell you that if you're getting good movement I wouldn't mind waiting. They're such a nuisance to me, especially because my baby is SO active at night and then I have to eat all this sugar and poke at her to get her to be active at 11 in the morning when I get scheduled for my tests. My midwife says she just has her own sleep schedule and that it's no big deal, but they have to have this data just to be sure. So, I go with it. Sigh. :P Also, at my office, if you don't have any other conditions or the like, 40+6 is when you get your first NST, so sounds like your midwives are like mine. :)
I got the sweetest phone call from my dad today, it practically left me in tears. All he does is just call to check up on me, but it's just so nice of him, and he really does sound excited for this baby, which I'm happy about. He told me about 50 times to take care of myself and that he loves me. Since I don't have my mom anymore (she passed away almost two years ago), it's so great to have his support. And my stepmom is great, too, which is nice.
Danielle, I LOVE the daily baby pics. Keep em coming! :) It must be so fun to play with girly clothes after those boys! Heehee.
